Organization of directories

The main data structure is based on 4 directory levels (and more for sub-directories such as IRMf session ...):

This figure shows how data is organized in a BrainVISA base. In this example, the data directory (the BrainVISA database) is called database_BrainVISA, the only protocol (there can be 1 or more protocols) is called my_proto and the 2 subjects studied are called sujetz and lesson1. Here, the lesson1 subject is in progress. The various anatomy, sort and graph folders are managed by BrainVISA, and each one contains the results of processes specific to a modality. These sub-folders therefore contain files (images, process results, etc.) with formatted names. These formatted names reflect the way in which data are organized in BrainVISA. They generally look like this:
